Staffing
Our staff includes qualified Early Childhood Educators, which are registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators. All staff employed at Robin’s Nest Early Childhood Education Centre have valid Standard First Aid Certifications including infant and child cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR). All staff, volunteers and students complete regular reference checks which includes a vulnerable sectors check.
Robin’s Nest Early Childhood Education Centre holds regular staff meetings as well as ongoing provide professional development workshops for our educators to ensure your children receive the highest quality care in their early years. Our educators observe, engage and listen to the children in their care to learn what each child know about, what they wonder about and their working theories about the world around them, in doing so they will build on the foundations of “ How Does Learning Happen?” with each child.
Program Playrooms
Robin's Nest is licensed by the Ministry of Education for 69 children, including infants, toddlers and preschool-age children.
Monthly newsletters and calendars are provided to all families on a monthly basis.
- Infants – Newborns to 18 months old
- Toddlers – 16 months old to 2½ years old
- Preschool – 2½ years old to 5 years old (including JK/SK children)
- Summer Day Camp Discovery Program offered for children in JK/SK
Transportation
Robin’s Nest Early Childhood Education Centre offers transportation to children attending Robin’s Nest Early Childhood Education Centre both to and from your home, as well to and from school for JK/SK children attending before or after school programs at the centre at a reasonable cost. Our vans colourfully symbolize the Robin’s Nest Early Childhood Education Centre Logo. (Please contact the centre for transportation subsidy options)
Meals and Snacks
All meals and snacks are included in your child's care. Our menus are kid-friendly and are designed to meet the Canadian Food Guide and the standards set out by the Ministry of Health and Ministry of Education. All meals and snacks are prepared by a qualified Food Handler.
Parental Involvement
We encourage all of our parents to share information about their child interests, health and any changes that may affect them with the staff, this communication will allow us to get to know your child better as well as enhance our program to meet their specific needs.

Hours of Operation
Monday to Friday 6:30AM to 5:30PM daily
*Robin's Nest is open all year round - Closed only for Statutory & Civic Holidays.
We offer full-time, flexible part-time care, as well as before and after school care for JK/SK students.
Tuition Fees
